Alex Miller, a senior at Roane County High School, was a safety and wide receiver for the Roane County High School Raiders. He collapsed between the first and second quarter Friday night at Clay County High School. The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Cole Tucker in the first round, with the 24th overall selection, of the 2014 MLB draft. Tucker spent 2015 with the West Virginia Power where he posted a .293 batting average along with 25 stolen bases before moving his way up the system. Tucker is a shortstop for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Julio Rodriguez an outfielder in the Seattle Mariners organization. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Mariners in 2018 .315 with five home runs and 36 RBIs in 59 games before joining the WV Power for the 2019 season.
